Ireland came to us in the Spring of 2015 when she was three years old. She was in a kill pen and in danger of shipping to slaughter. Ireland was very ill when she came to us and clearly had an extremely rough start to her life. She had a heavy load of parasites, pneumonia, off the chart ulcers and a week immune system. It took about six months for her to heal and gain her strength back. Now she’s happy and living in her new home with Liz and Peter and their three other horses.
