Prancer

Prancer is an energetic 15 year old mini gelding that we took in as an owner surrender. At the time he was a stallion, had very little handling, and was scared and aggressive towards horses. He is doing so much better now with his handling. He’s learned basic ground work skills, how to be polite while being handled for routine care, and is doing much better with handling his feet. Prancer cannot be turned out with mares and can only go as a companion for another gelding. Although he continues to improve, he still struggles on how to be social with other horses. The best turn out set up would be having 2 paddocks where he could share a fenceline with his companion for as long as necessary. We don’t expect this to be needed forever, but he still needs more time to adjust. Adoption fee $500
