Barney

Barney just turned 30 years old in May, 2023. He is a healthy and handsome old man and is excellent for the vet and farrier. He has wonderful ground manners and stands on the cross ties to be groomed and leads well. Barney loves his stall and would do best in a situation where he can have his own box stall to come into as needed. He also would do best a small herd of one or two other horses, either all geldings or all mares. He tends to get protective of the mares with a mixed herd. Barney is a Standardbred/draft cross and stands 16.3 hands tall. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions if you are interested in giving this kind and deserving horse a loving retirement home. All of our horses come up to date with their vaccines, dental care, farrier care and a current coggins. Adoption fee: $450
