Sweet Annie

Sweet Annie arrived back at DER in April after recovering from surgery to correct her Kissing Spines. She is a six year old off track Thoroughbred mare and stands approximately 16.2 hands tall and has her whole life ahead of her. Annie is available for adoption to an advanced rider who is interested in a safe project. Annie is a sassy thoroughbred mare who has a very sweet disposition. She is incredibly smart and if she thinks for a second she can intimidate you and get away with something then she will. She would be most successful in a quiet home with little activity and with someone who is familiar with the breed. Annie needs structure, consistent routine and a good job that she can put her mental energy into. She is wonderful in the ring, has experience with indoor arenas and out on the trails. She is used to coming into a stall for her meals but otherwise enjoys living outside with her friends most of the year (except in bad weather). She will try to be dominant in a herd especially with other mares but is currently living with mares and geldings happily. This horse holds such a big place in our hearts and we want only the best for this special and unique girl.
